The El Campo Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture is accepting nominations for the 2017 Citizen of the Year. The Citizen of the Year is a lifetime achievement award. The deadline for nominations is Friday, Dec. 29. Nomination letters can be delivered to the Chamber Office at 01 N. Mechanic or by mail to P.O. Box 1400 El Campo, TX 77437. Nominations can also be emailed to email@example.com. Danevang Museum Hosts Santa Lucia Celebration

31st Annual Christmas Mall To Be Two Days
The El Campo Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 31st Annual Christmas Mall Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3 at the El Campo Civic Center on North Mechanic. BBQ Benefit Helps With Medical Expenses

Eighth Annual Jingle Bell Run Open To All
The Presbyterian Preschool PTO hosts their Eighth Annual Jingle Bell Run, a 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ Race benefiting the Preschool, on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 4 p.m. Entry fee is $30 per adult, $10 per child. St. John’s Scholarship Party Dec. 3
St. John’s Scholarship Games Party will be Sunday, Dec. 3 at the Taiton Community Center at 6 p.m. There will be games, door prizes, drawings, auctions and a visit from Santa Claus from 4 - 6 p.m. There will be plenty of refreshments and proceeds will benefit the youth of St. John’s.
