Schlette-Hoke
Anne M. Schlette of Dallas announces the engagement of her daughter, Dr. Ellen Joy Schlette of Houston, also daughter of the late Robert E. Schlette, to John William Hoke of Houston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin L. Hoke Jr. of El Campo. The bride-to-be is a 1990 graduate of Texas A&M University and a 1994 graduate of the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. She is a professor of the department of hematpathology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. The future groom is a 1991 graduate of Texas A&M University and vice president of business development for Small Business Loan Source. The couple will wed at 4 p.m., Oct. 13, 2007 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
