Jason and Liz Conrad of El Campo announce the birth of their second child, a son named Carter Hunt Conrad. The baby was born at 7:43 a.m., Sept. 6, 2007 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces.

He is welcomed home by a brother, Cameron Hunt Conrad, age 2.

Maternal grandparents are Donna and Larry Janik of El Campo. Paternal grandparents are Yvonne and Roger Conrad of Palacios.

Great-grandparents are Edwin and Jeanette Richter of El Campo and Arl and Eva Hunt of Palacios.

The mother is the former Lizabeth Lee Janik.

De'Vante Johnson

Felton Johnson and Tashauna Terrell of El Campo announce the birth of their second child, a son named De'Vante DeShawn Johnson. The baby was born at 6:15 a.m., Sept. 9, 2007 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton weighing 8 pounds, 3 ounces.

He is welcomed home by a sister, Trinity Magnolia Johnson, age 3.

Maternal grandparents are Gwendolyn Terrell and Joelee Sparks, both of El Campo. Paternal grandmother is Janice Johnson of Houston.

Vivian Kelly

Cory and Brittany Kelly of Chattanooga, Tenn., announce the birth of their second child, a daughter named Vivian Louisa Kelly. The baby was born on Aug. 28, 2007 in Chattanooga, Tenn. weighing 7 pounds, 5 ounces and measuring 20 1/2 inches long.

She is welcomed home by her big brother, Aidan Kelly, who will be 3 in December.

Maternal grandparents are Toni and Jerry DeRego of Penn Valley, Calif. Paternal grandparents are Vernon (Sonny) and Carolyn Kelly of El Campo.

Paternal great-grandmother is Louise Kelly of Houston, formerly of El Campo; and paternal great-grandfather, the late Monroe Kelly. Other great-grandparents are the late Velma and Bob Mathis and the late Fillmore Brod.

Nathan King

Mr. and Mrs. Brian King of Richmond announce the birth of their second child, a son named Nathan Blair King. The baby was born at 1:20 p.m., Aug. 31, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Sugar Land weighing 8 pounds, 12 ounces.

He is welcomed home by a sister, Madison, age 2.

Charles Thomas Abigail Thomas

The twins are named Charles Grant Thomas and Abigail Elizabeth Thomas. Charles was born at 8:23 a.m. weighing 4 pounds, 9 ounces. Abigail was born at 8:25 a.m., weighing 4 pounds, 4 ounces.
