Outdoor 4-H members review upcoming events

Members of the Outdoor 4-H Club met Monday evening at the Ozarka building. After roll call was taken, members turned in their enrollment forms and dues.

Alexis Cooper read the minutes from the August meeting and went over old business. Vice-President Tyler Socha reminded members of upcoming events as follows:

• Sept. 15: WCYF Steer/Pen of 3 Tag in and Beef Merit draw.

• Sept. 16: WCYF Lamb and Goat clinic.

• Sept. 22: WCYF Golf tournament.

• Sept. 29: WCYF Dairy Merit validation.

A motion was made to have the turkey shoot in March. Each family is required to sell $1 per square for a 100 square target.

The next meeting will be held on Oct. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Ozarka.
