Tips needed to find SUV, dog thieves

      Crime Stoppers needs your help finding the person who stole an SUV last Thursday, taking the owner's dog along for a joy ride. According to El Campo Police, a Ganado woman parked her car on the roadside in front of a home in the 300 block of Avenue A around 10:40 a.m. Sept. 13.

      El Campo volunteer firefighters rushed to the scene of an Avenue I cooking fire Saturday, but the flames had been doused. No major damage was reported in the incident.
