Police Blotter City Arrests Alcohol, drugs Robert Efraim Garza, 26, of 1408 Olivia was arrested at 1:57 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14 on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was released at 3:45 p.m. the same day on $1,500 bond. Lupe Lira Almanzar, 69, of 405 August was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 on a charge of driving while intoxicated - third or more, after being the sole driver in a wreck. He was held on $5,000 bond as of noon Monday, Sept. 17. Edgar Guerrero Gaspas, 18, of 701 Alice Ave. was arrested at 1:33 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 16 on charges of public intoxication and evading arrest or detention. He was held on $3,000 bond as of noon Monday, Sept. 17. Oliver Ball Jr., 37, of 303 S. Meadow Lane was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 on a charge of possession of marijuana. He remained in custody at presstime. Jamal Rashad Davis, 17, of 1404 Business Ave. was arrested at 1:10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18 on charges of possession of a controlled substance and tampering/fabricating physical evidence. He remained in custody at presstime. Property Douglas Marvin Thane, 52, of 1908 Wayne was arrested at 6:47 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15 on four warrants for issuance of a bad check, two warrants for public intoxication and a charge of blocking a moving lane of traffic. He was released the same day due to medical complications. Other Daurice Evette Harrell, 29, of 303 Maggie Rd. was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9 on two warrants each for failure to appear and no insurance and cited for open alcohol container in a motor vehicle. She was released the next day on $1,709.52 bond. Concepcion Garza III, 18, of 8826 S. Hwy. 71 in Danevang was arrested at 8:55 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14 on warrants for failure to appear and violating the driver's license age restrictions. He was released the same day on $727.36 bond. A 14-year-old El Campo girl was arrested at 2:04 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 on a Wharton County warrant for probation violation and a charge of evading arrest or detention. She was transferred to the Fort Bend County Juvenile Detention Facility in Richmond the same day. John Michael Ramos, 33, of 708 S. Washington was arrested at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 on a warrant for open alcohol container in a motor vehicle and a charge of no insurance. He was released the same day after paying a $548.28 fine and on $306.75 bond. Sean Michael Gibson, 19, of 508 College was arrested at 3:31 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16 on two warrants each for failure to appear and no insurance and warrants for excessive noise - spinning tires, speeding, no motorcycle license, motorcycle passenger without headgear, defective equipment and failure to control speed. He remained in custody at presstime. Kasheena Joshay Lathon, 21, of 301 Gibson was arrested at 11:18 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16 on three warrants for disorderly conduct - language and a warrant for failure to identify. She was held as of presstime. Levan Marshall Jr., 49, of 312 Greely was arrested at 1:10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18 on a charge of evading arrest or detention and warrants for expired motor vehicle inspection certificate, operating a vehicle with a fictitious license plate, expired registration, failure to appear, expired driver's license and no insurance. City Incidents Property Two incidents of criminal mischief were reported at the same time at Travel Inn & Suites, 809 W. Jackson, between 5:55 and 6:10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8. The motel reported $250 in damage to a building and Teresa Cadriel reported $300 damage to a vehicle's window. Cathy Borowiak of East Bernard reported burglary of a vehicle at Sunny Side Inn, 1214 S. Mechanic, between 9 and 11:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14. Burglars did $300 damage to the vehicle and stole two purses and their contents. Crystal Vega reported burglary of a vehicle at Tiki Hut, 134 S. Washington, between 12:05 and 12:35 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. Burglars did $250 damage to the vehicle and stole items worth $515; however, all but $5 of that was recovered. Lindsey Vackar reported burglary of a vehicle at Greenbriar Apartments, 2001 Ave. F, between 1:30 and 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. Burglars did $150 damage to the vehicle and stole items worth $2,250. County Incidents Property Larry Krushall Jr. reported burglary of a vehicle between 12:30 and 11 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 from a vehicle parked at a business on CR 303 about a half mile north of FM 1163. Thieves took a 9mm firearm with two magazines worth $500 and bullets and a holster worth $60 . Brandy Richie reported theft of a $200 digital camera from 915 N. Liberty between Aug. 21 and Aug. 31. Johnnie Fisher reported vandals did $600 in BB-gun damage to four windows at a home at 909 Ellwood between Aug. 27 and Sept. 7. Darlene Giesalhart reported burglary of a habitation at 2456 FM 1163 in El Campo between July 9 and Aug. 1. Burglars stole a ring worth $2,700. Sherri Arrambide reported criminal mischief at 1704 Lampley between 3 and 3:35 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 9. Vandals did $4,400 damage to a vehicle. Texas Aqua Turf reported theft of 120 pallets worth $300 between 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9 and 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10 along CR 434 in Louise. County Jail Bookings Alcohol, drugs Justin Derrick Teets, 21, of 1406 Yupon was booked at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7 for driving while intoxicated, criminal mischief and evading arrest with a vehicle. He was released at 2:15 p.m. the same day on $9,000 bond. Silvestre Arrambide, 62, of 705 Betty was booked at 9:20 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7 for driving while intoxicated. He was released at 12:16 p.m. the same day on $2,000 bond. Violence, weapons Kimberly Guerrero, 35, of 619 Betty was booked at 10:55 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6 for assault family violence. She was released at 11 a.m. the next day on $2,000 bond. Alex Guerrero, 32, 309 Elm, Louise, was booked at 10:55 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6 for assault family violence. He was released at 11:30 a.m. the next day on $2,500 bond. Eric Davidson, 28, of 2660 CR 318 in El Campo, was booked at 2:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10 for assault-family violence. He was released the same day on $5,000 bond. Other Paul Cordova, 39, of 404 E. Calhoun was booked on Tuesday, Sept. 11 on three counts of motion to revoke probation and a driving while license invalid warrant. He was held without bond as of noon Thursday, Sept. 13. Raynaldo Rodriguez, 28, of 203 S. Washington was booked Tuesday, Sept. 11 for bond forfeiture. He was released at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 on $25,000 bond. Regina Williams, 25, 1420 CR 115 of Nada was booked Tuesday, Sept. 11 for probation violation. She was released at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 on $20,000 bond. Kermit Ladell Edwards, 37, of 906 E. Hillje was booked Wednesday, Sept. 12 for probation violation. He was held without bond as of noon Thursday, Sept. 13. Clayton Brawn, 33, of 4474 U.S. 59 in Ganado was booked Thursday, Sept. 13 on a Texas Department of Corrections hold. He was held without bond as of noon Monday, Sept. 17.
