Children host 30th anniversary party for Larry & Diana David

Larry and Diana David celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with an open house Saturday from 2-5 p.m. at their home, 542 Margaret St.
Hosting the party were their children, Amanda and Edward Hernandez and daughter Kadence of College Station, and Dustin David of Fort Hood.
A variegated and solid red rose arrangement centered the refreshment table. An arrangement of red roses and alstromeria were was placed in the living room and a card basket was placed at the front entry. A red rose arrangement was placed in the master bedroom and French vanilla candles were placed throughout the home.
Refreshments included apple strudel, cheese rolls, ceviche, bundt cakes, angel food cake, cookies, brownies, meat and cheese trays with crackers. A pineapple and lime sherbet punch was served along with coffee and tea.
Larry David and Diana Lynn Juranek were married Sept. 17, 1977 by Father Les Vance at St. Philip's Catholic Church. They made their first home on Kubela Road in the Pierce area. A year before the birth of their first child they moved to 902 North Wharton St., and recently moved to their new residence at 542 Margaret St.
Larry is harvest manager for Texas Aqua Turf and Diana is the classified manager at the El Campo Leader-News.
