Stephanie Marek & Jason Helton honored with miscellaneous party

A miscellaneous shower for Stephanie Marek and Jason Helton was held Saturday morning at the First Baptist Church fellowship hall.

Hostesses were Linda Mican, Bernie Medford, Lorraine Dennis, Karen Knebel, Susan Gerla, Jody Cerny, Ella Mae Knebel, Barbara Andel and Betty Jo Staff.

Party decorations were in the colors of chocolate and pink. A menu of breakfast foods were served along with a chocolate and pink cake.

Special guests were Kelly Marek of Louise, mother of the bride-to-be; and Stella Marek of El Campo and Laurel Clements of Louise, grandmothers of the bride-to-be.

The hostesses presented the couple with a vacuum cleaner. Stephanie and Jason will be married Nov. 3, 2007.
