Relay team hosting bake sale fund-raiser
The Fishin Crew Relay for Life team met for a meeting last Monday.

Team members attending were co-captain Sara Weathers, Jeremy Weathers, co-captain Janice Winter, Jerry Winter, Colleen Mauch, Lorie Selensky, Michelle King, Gigi Lewis and Rachel Kasper.

The team has planned a bake sale and fish pond to be held at El Campo Wal-Mart on Oct. 6.

Other items discussed were adopting survivors for the night of the relay, camp site set up and selling luminaries in honor of a deceased or surviving cancer victim.

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life will be held on Oct. 20 at El Campo High School.
