AREA FUNERAL NOTICES

Judy Van Hook

Judy Van Hook, 60, of Louise, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007.

She was born on June 8, 1947 in Lebanon, Tenn. to C.S. and Louise Grandstaff Winfree.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Larry Van Hook of Louise; daughter, Autumn Lee Van Hook of California; sons, Larry Matthew Van Hook of Kansas, Marshal Grant Van Hook of Victoria; brothers, Jim Winfree of Tennessee and Joe Winfree of Tenn.; sisters, Geraldine Macon of Tenn., Jean Gann of Fla. and Jan Hall of Tennessee and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be today, Wednesday, Sept. 19 from noon until 2 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. today at Triska Funeral Home with the Rev. Casey Dubose officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.

Rev. Barbara Miller

The Rev. Barbara Ann Miller, 62, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007.

She was born Aug. 11, 1945 in Houston to Ruth Mac Miller. The Rev. Miller was presently the Pastor of Wesley-Harper United Methodist Church in Seguin. She was former pastor of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in El Campo.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth Hoyle of Houston, Cheryl Hoyle of Los Angeles, Calif., Michael Williams of Eagle Lake and Clifton Edwards of Anniston, Ala.; brother, Rueben Edwards of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; and three nieces and four nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 21 from 6-9 p.m. at Wesley Harper United Methodist Church, 754 W. Court St., Seguin 830-379-3414. The funeral service will be Saturday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 710 N. Austin St. in Seguin 830- 379-4112. A special viewing will be conducted following the funeral service at First United Methodist Church at 1229 Milan St. in Columbus at 3 p.m. 979-732-2603. Interment will be at Alleyton Cemetery in Alleyton.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Harper United Methodist Church, 754 W. Court St., Seguin, Tx 78155.
