Goerig next director for Northside

City Council approved Abby Goerig as Randy Clapp's replacement on the Northside Center board of directors Tuesday.

Clapp resigned from the center's board to become Wharton County's 329th District Court judge upon the retirement of Judge Dan Sklar.

Goerig is the wife of El Campo doctor Brian Goerig, and is a non-practicing attorney.
