City Arrests Alcohol, drugs

Eric Eugene Holloway, 28, of 609 Roth was arrested at 6:34 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 on charges of possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana, no driver's license, no insurance and displaying a fictitious registration sticker, two warrants each for expired motor vehicle inspection certificate, no driver's license and expired registration and three warrants for no insurance. He remained in custody at presstime.

City Incidents Property

George F. Schmermund V reported theft of a $400 Sony video camera from 804 Peach between 6:30 and 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15.

Margarita Escamilla reported a burglary at 803 Cotton between 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 and 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18. Burglars took a $200 television and 30 DVDs worth $300.

El Campo Elks Lodge, 3010 N. Mechanic, reported vandals put furniture and other items in the swimming pool between 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 and 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14.

Karl Mayeske reported burglary of a vehicle at a construction site on Hwy. 71 North between 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 and noon Friday, Sept. 14. Burglars took $5,700 in chrome pipes and trim and 16 red truck lights worth $500.

County Jail Bookings Violence, weapons

Frank Joseph Satsky Jr., 41, of 10836 FM 961 in El Campo was booked at 9:33 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18 on warrants for two counts of assault causing bodily injury and probation violation. He was held on $125,000 bond as of noon Thursday, Sept. 20.

Kevin Sosa, 20, of 1132 Ellwood was booked Tuesday, Sept. 18 for two counts of assault-family violence. He was released at 9:33 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 on $10,000 bond.

Jail population as of noon Thursday, Sept. 20 was 140 prisoners.
