Intrigued
Finding refuge inside some ornately painted seashells, these hermit crabs are content to bask in the artificially lighted display at the El Campo Museum of Natural History. Museum director Cheri McGuirk gives brother and sister, Freddy Peña Jr., age 4, and Malerie Peña, age 3, a close-up view of some of the hermit crabs' pinchers. The children's parents are Freddy and Valerie Peña Sr.
