Sue Jahns

Sue Carolyn Upton Jahns, 71, of Ganado, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007.

She was born Sept. 11, 1936 in Alto to Everett and Lillie Matlock Upton.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Jahns of Ganado; daughter, Peggy Jahns New of Ganado; son, Everett Jones of Ganado; brother, Bob Upton of McRae, Ark.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ginger Upton; brothers, Jack and Kenneth Upton; and sons, Gerald Jones and Michael Fritz Jahns.

Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church in Ganado with the Rev. Clyde Greer officiating. Burial followed at Ganado Cemetery.
