Michael Roddy celebrates 1st birthday

Michael Wayne Roddy, son of Craig and Lori Roddy, celebrated his first birthday with family and friends at Lake Texana's Brackenridge Park on Saturday.

John Deere themed decorations adorned the pavilion area where guests gathered to help him celebrate.

A John Deere cake, made by is aunt Brandy Beal, was the center of the table, along with a "1st year" photo sign-in card and various photos of Michael.

Children were entertained with a giant birthday cake moonwalk and slide and at the playground area.

Special guests were his great-grandparents, Henry Lee and Mary Domengeaux of Sulphur, La.; and Sylvia Roddy of El Campo; grandparents, Darel and Darla Montgomery of Bay City and Donnie and Sherry Roddy of El Campo; big brother, Payton Crowely, and numerous cousins and friends.

A meal of hot dogs and trimmings were served to 32 guests. After the party, guests went for boat rides on the lake.
