Constitution Celebrated
The Northside Elementary School Library joined with Comfort Wood Chapter, DAR to create a display with their books and pamphlets celebrating "Constitution Week" September 17-23. Diane Thigpen, librarian, is shown with Aundreya Gonzales giving talking points about our Constitution. Schools, libraries and churches across Wharton County have participated in having displays. Spot announcements have been made over KULP Radio Station and Mid Coast Cable TV. "We've had great articles in The El Campo Leader News, Wharton Journal-Spectator and East Bernard Express," stated Hazel Foltyn, Regent of Comfort Wood.
