Party honors for Bubela & Hubenak

Jennifer Salee Bubela and Brad Hubenak were honored with a couples shower Sunday evening at Muldoon's Saloon.

The couple's wedding date is set for Oct. 13, 2007.

Party decorations featured hurricane vases with candles, greenery and red and yellow flowers.

Refreshments included a chip and salsa bar, followed by a meal of brisket and sausage, Mexican rice and beans and spice cake.

Special guests were Debbie and Eugene Bubela, Jr., parents of the bride-to-be; Debbie and Tommie Hubenak, parents of the prospective groom; Bunny and Ace Alexander and Leona and Eugene Bubela, Sr., grandparents of the bride-to-be; and Verna Hubenak and Evelyn Rutledge, grandmothers of the future groom.

The 20 hostesses presented the couple with a gas barbecue pit.
