Linda Townsend

Linda K. Townsend, 58, of Slidell, La., formerly of El Campo, died Sept. 23, 2007.

She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Carroll Townsend of Slidell; daughter, Carey Townsend of Slidell; sisters, Helen N. Grothman of Hillsboro, N.D. and Leona Nelson of St. Paul, Minn.; brother, John Nelson of El Campo; and three nieces.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 27 at the First Baptist Church in Slidell.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, Sept. 30 at 3 p.m. at Swedish Lutheran Cemetery in El Campo. Arrangement here were under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.
