Leslie Woolard & Curtis Dornak wed at St. Mary's

MR. AND MRS. CURTIS WAYNE DORNAK LESLIE ANN WOOLARD
Leslie Ann Woolard and Curtis Wayne Dornak were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m., Sept. 29, 2007 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Nada. Father Joe Vrana performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Donna Woolard of Garwood. Parents of the groom are Preston and Mary Jane Dornak of El Campo.

The altar was decorated with six arrangements consisting of white gladiolus, snap dragons, spider mums, cushion poms, white carnations and mixed foliage. Family pews were designated with white satin bows and greenery. Guest pews were accented with white satin bows.

Music was provided by the organist, Janice Cox; and the soloist, Daniel Berglund.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a white satin A-line gown with a draped front and face-framing sweetheart neckline. Beading embellished the bodice, skirt insert and chapel-length train. She wore a fingertip veil trimmed in satin with crystal accents. Her bouquet was comprised of white hydrangeas, white roses, white calla lilies and greenery.

Maid of honor was Kim Waligura of Garwood, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stacie Williamson of El Campo, sister of the groom; Erin Gold of Austin, cousin of the bride; and Brandy Meitzen of Austin, Tiffany Moore of College Station and Amber Mahalitc of Austin, all friends of the bride.

Attendants wore a wine sleeveless full-length satin gown. They carried three sunflowers with hypericum berries and raffia accents.

Flower girl was Kristen Carey, friend of the bride. Ring bearers were Tyler and Ryan Williamson, nephews of the groom; and Matt Carey, friend of the bride.

Brian Mrnustik of Austin, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Bubba Woolard of Garwood, brother of the bride; Gary Williamson of El Campo, brother-in-law of the groom; Brad Krasucky of El Campo, cousin of the groom; and Chad Charbula of Louise and Todd Riha of El Campo, both friends of the groom.

Ushers were Craig Rucka, friend of the groom; and Layton Gold, Chris Korenek and Troy Korenek, cousins of the bride.

Witnesses were Kim Gold and David Popp. Lector was Cindy Priesmeyer. Offertory gifts were presented by Jane Korenek and Mark Wied, godparents of the bride, and Joe and Carol Krasucky, uncle and aunt of the groom.

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at Taiton Community Center. Members of the house party were Jenna Cook, Robby and Mary Kay Cook, Bruce Dornak, Joe Ray and Dawn Dornak, Jordan Dornak, Sonny and Tammy Gonzales, Thomas and Michelle Foster, Jane Korenek, Joe and Carol Krasucky, Stacey Krasucky, Jessica Popp and Donald and Cindy Priesmeyer.

Rehearsal dinner was held at St. Mary's Parish Hall.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Rice Consolidated High School and a 2006 graduate of Texas A&M University. She is an accounting specialist at NewFirst National Bank. The groom is a 1994 graduate of El Campo High School and a 1999 graduate of Sam Houston State University. He is a project supervisor at Greenleaf Nursery.

After their honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in El Campo.
