Party honors Christie Koudela

Christie Koudela, bride-elect of Orlando Valle, was honored with a miscellaneous bridal shower Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon at the home of Judy Peter.

Fresh fruit and dip, dewberry rolls, quiche and a cake decorated with a bridal dress motif were served. The table was decorated with a dozen red roses and photographs of the future bride and groom.

The 13 hostesses presented the honoree with a 10-piece set of her chosen pots and pans.

Honored guests were the mother of the bride-to-be, Sheila Koudela; and grandmother, Pauline Parker.

Christie and Orlando will be married Nov. 4, 2007 in Sugar Land.
