Grady Hansen digs turning '1'

GRADY HANSEN
Grady Hansen, son of Dean and Shana Hansen, celebrated his first birthday on Saturday with an "I Dig Being 1" party at his home in Danevang.

Party decorations were in the theme of construction equipment, and Grady wore a shirt that said "I dig being 1" with a bulldozer pushing a big number 1.

The children decorated construction hats with stickers and then dug for brightly painted pet rocks in the playground area. Prizes of inflatable hammers and gummy candy in the shape of tools where given when they found their rocks.

Chips and dip, cheese ball and crackers, key lime cheese ball with graham teddy crackers and red punch were served to guests.

A cake in the shape of a dump truck was made for Grady by his mother Shana, and was served with ice cream.

Close family and friends attended the party and gifts included dump trucks, tractors, building blocks and money. Grady received a Power Wheels Lil' Quad Bike from his parents.
