Dairy Teams Do Well
The Wharton County dairy judging team competed at the Washington County Fair in Brenham on Sept. 22 against 195 individuals and 62 teams. Senior team members consisting of Shelby Rod, Bethany Weinheimer and Sierra Ledwig brought home a second place plaque and portfolio. Individually, Rod placed 2nd and Weinheimer placed 6th. In the junior division, the team consisting of Cydni Rod, Korie Couvillion, Kyler Couvillion and Kyler Valenta placed 4th. The team of Cheyenne Morton, Michaela Bram, Danielle Valenta, and Colleen Krenek took 11th place. Individually, Cydni Rod placed 4th, Kyler Couvillion placed 7th and Danielle Valenta placed 15th.
