Praying At The Pole
About 55 students and adults attended the See You At the Pole prayer service around the flag pole at Louise High School early Thursday morning. Prior to prayer time, students were treated to a breakfast served by the cheerleaders at Louise First Baptist Church fellowship hall. One student, Rachel Watson, a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, led out in the meeting. She also shared her personal testimony of how she accepted Christ as her Savior and became a born-again Christian. Other volunteers, Amber Mann and Emily Peters, sang the national anthem. Many other students read scripture verses and voiced prayers. Coach Bill was called upon for the closing prayer where all the students held hands and had a moment of silent prayer for their families, school, its leaders, for our military and for our government.
