IMUD to talk banking at regular monthly meeting

Thursday's monthly board meeting for the Isaacson Municipal Utility District should be short, with no old business and very little new business for directors to ponder.

The only new items on the board's agenda are to open sealed depository bids then designate a depository institution. That chosen bank or institution will be used from Nov. 1 of this year to Oct. 31, 2009.

The board will then discuss and take action on authorized signatures for all IMUD bank accounts. IMUD serves around 190 customers just outside the northeastern city limits of El Campo, providing water, sewer and garbage collection services.

IMUD's Board of Directors will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 at the district's office at 403 N. Liberty. The meeting is open to the public.
