Working Diligently
St. Philip student council members, who received a $500 grant last school year from the Meadows Foundation, used the money to enhance the front of their school. Students spent Friday evening putting in new plants and taking out old ones. With the design layout from Socha's Nursery, students did all the work themselves. Working are (l-r) Janea Saucedo, Kathyrn Hancock, Sara Krenek, Reid Strnadel and Matt Edwards. Others participating were Kirby Quintero, Kari Wilkins, Lauren Gregurek, Alexis Crowell, Koy Kresta, Amber Kresta, Chance Hollingsworth, Jessica Fucik and Lynette Strnadel, student council advisor.
