Varsity girls take first in Needville

El Campo's cross country teams ran in Needville last Saturday and one squad came out on top.

The varsity girls team took top prize at the Needville Meet. Anchored by top-10 finishes by all six girls, including first place by Angel Brooks, El Campo brought home the team championship plaque.

The junior varsity girls also ran well, finishing second in their division.

Several runners made great times and placed highly in the event.
