The Fabric Of His Life Roberto Maya amuses himself by relaxing in loose cotton during a break from work Thursday at the Farmers Co-op of El Campo's Hillje gin. Maya and other workers were waiting for a broken machine to be fixed before continuing to bale this year's crop, which is expected to be fairly decent after monsoon rains blanketed Texas for weeks this summer, endangering the plants and their yields.
