One Injured
An El Campo rescuer uses his leg to brace while trying to pull the door free that entrapped the female driver of this Pontiac Torrent. She was flown to a Houston hospital by Life Flight helicopter after being pinned in her SUV during an accident Tuesday around noon on the West Loop. According to police, she apparently pulled out in front of a Jeep Commander containing two El Campo High School students, causing the front of the Jeep to plow into the driver's door of the Pontiac. The two girls in the Jeep were not injured. Airbags deployed in both SUVs. Further information on the accident was not available at presstime.
