Gray & Fortenberry say vows in West Columbia ceremony

Denise Michelle Gray and Joshua Ray Fortenberry were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m., Oct. 6, 2007 in West Columbia at the home of the Ralph and Sylvia Fortenberry. The Rev. Dr. Debbie Measells performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of William and Cheryl Spring of El Campo and Daniel and Luz Gray of Long Beach, Calif. Parents of the groom are Martin and Rhonda Harris of Bay City and Ralph and Sylvia Fortenberry of West Columbia.
The bride was escorted by her father, Daniel Gray. She carried a bouquet of cala lilies.
Crystal Spring of El Campo, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Wendi Fortenberry of Houston, sister-in-law of the groom; Samantha Dolluff of Westminster, Calif., cousin of the bride; Sunnye Wingo of West Columbia, step-sister of the groom; and Tara Fortenberry of Clute, sister of the groom. They carried a single cala lily.
Flower girl was Natalie Marsigula.
Best man was James Fortenberry of Houston, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Robert Spring and William Spring of El Campo, brothers of the bride; Phillip Fortenberry of Fort Rucker, brother of the groom; and Skye Wingo of Angleton, step-brother of the groom.
Ushers were William Morris, Marcus Van Allen and Dylan McSwain.
Witnesses were Crystal Spring and James Fortenberry.
A reception followed at the groom's father's ranch. Members of the house party were Krystal French and Kristen McClendon.
Rehearsal dinner was held at the Columbia Lakes Resort in West Columbia.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of El Campo High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Houston. She graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2007. She is a member of Phi Sigma Alpha and an attorney.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Bay City High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Houston School of Architecture. He is a draftmans for Benedettini Cabinetry.
After a wedding trip to Italy, the couple will reside in West Columbia.
