Maternal grandparents are Don and Lorene (Lundquist) Taylor of El Campo. Paternal grandparents are Santos and Martha (Saenz) Ortiz Jr. of El Campo.

Great-grandparents are Bob and Ira Taylor of Three Rivers; Josephine Lundquist of Pawnee and the late C.H. Roland Lundquist; Santos and Elena Ortiz Sr. of El Campo; and Eddie Saenz of Palacios and the late Lydia Saenz.

The mother is the former Sheena Renee Taylor.

Gilbert Garcia

Mr. and Mrs. Ricardo Garcia Sr. of El Campo announce the birth of their third child, a son named Gilbert Herbert Garcia. The baby was born at 11:41 a.m., Sept. 30, 2007 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces.

He is welcomed home by a brother and sister, Adam Ricardo Garcia Jr. and Lilia Gabrielle Garcia.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Garza of Wharton. Paternal grandfather is Herbert Garcia of Lubbock.

Great-grandmother is Rosa Garza of Wharton.

The mother is the former Donna Garza.
