Edna Coleman Edna Jean Thompson- Coleman, 54, of Houston, formerly of El Campo, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007. She was born Feb. 27, 1953 to Robert Louis Sr. and Myrtle Marie Henderson Thompson. She attended E.A. Greer and El Campo ISD and upon graduation in 1972 she moved to Houston. She worked as a manager for Church's, Richmond State School and was a supervisor for Park Plaza Hospital for 24 years. Survivors include her husband, Arthur Coleman; mother; son, Reginald Coleman; daughter, Rachel Coleman; adopted son, Cer' Derrick Miller; six grandchildren; brothers, Robert Thompson Jr. of Houston, Ivory Thompson Sr. of Kansas City, Mo. and Thomas Thompson of El Campo; and sisters, Ruth Bluntson of Houston, Eloise Thompson and Zula Thompson of El Campo. She was preceded in death by her father; two sisters, Alice Baylor and Mary Hargrove; and two brothers, David Thompson and Joshua Thompson Sr. Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. at True Light Missionary Baptist Church #2, 788 Enterprise in Houston with Pastor Doris Ellis officiating. Viewing will be Friday, Oct. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at McCoy and Harrison Funeral Home, Martin Luther King Blvd. in Houston. |
