Marcus Guerrero

Marcus John Alexander Guerrero, 17, of Garden City, Kan., briefly in El Campo, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007.

He was born May 16, 1990 in Garden City, Kan. to Chris Lucero and Kimberly Guerrero. Marcus attended the Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana Church in Garden City.

Survivors include his father; and mother, Kimberly Guerrero of El Campo; brothers, George Sanchez Jr. of Houston, Lawrence Sanchez of El Campo, Robbie Sanchez of El Campo and Louis Olvera of El Campo; sister, Elizabeth Olvera of El Campo; grandfathers, John Guerrero of Garden City, Kan.; and great-grandfather, Leo Martinez of Dodge City, Kan.

Memorial service will be Saturday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. at Primera Iglesia Bautista, 128 E. Belle in Wharton. Service will be lead by Pastor Joel Ramirez Sr.
