Undefeated Ricebirds put 5-0 record on line in Rosenberg against Terry

      District begins Friday and for El Campo, the first game has a bit of a revenge factor as the Ricebirds travel to Rosenberg to play the Terry Rangers. Last year is too familiar to Head Coach Bob Gillis. He said he does not want to start district off again with a loss to Terry.

      The Lady Hornets remained undefeated in district play after earning a 5-game win over Pettus Saturday in a tough home match. Louise played hard to get a win in the first game in extra points. The Lady Hornets fought off Pettus for a 26-24 win.

      When Woodsboro comes to town Friday, the Hornets will have a couple of reasons to win. Louise will need the win to continue pushing for a playoff spot and would like to see back-to-back wins once again, but perhaps the greatest reason of all is that it is homecoming.
