Meredith Gold has princess theme party for 1st birthday

Meredith Gold celebrated her birthday Saturday afternoon with a "Lil' Princess 1st Birthday" theme party at her home.

Hosting the party were her parents, Tom and Annie Gold, and her big sister and brother, Bethani and Jess.

Carrying out the theme, hot pink and white balloons, streamers and a birthday banner decorated the party area.

Kids enjoyed playing in a bounce house and on the swing set.

A hamburger supper with all the trimmings was served with dips, chips and desserts. A birthday cake decorated with a crown and number "1" on top was also served.

Special guests were Roy and Rose Ann Mitchell, grandparents; and Pat and Shannon Gold, godparents. Many family and friends also attended.

She received pearl earrings from her Popo Mitchell. Other gifts included clothes, learning toys, baby dolls and money.

Meredith turned one-yearold on Oct. 10.
