Sisters celebrate birthdays

A birthday party honoring sisters, Cynthia Williams of Louise and Mary Lewis of Markham, was held Saturday at the home of Paul and Pat Casinger of Webster, sister and brotherin law of the honorees.

A lunch of ham, yams, corn on the cob, black-eyed peas and pasta was served at noon. Pat said the noon prayer.

The home was decorated with many birthday balloons and banners. All guests exchanged gifts with the honorees having a choice of any gift they wanted.

A chocolate ice cream cake served as the birthday cake. The afternoon was spent visiting.

Special guests were Danny Williams of Louise, Cynthia's husband, and Joe Lewis of Markham, Mary's husband. Other guest included E.J. and Debbie Hlavinka of Louise, brother and sister-in-law of the honorees; and Diane and Richard Williams of Edna, sister and brother-in-law of the honorees. Also. Kim Maerz of La Porte, daughter of Mary, attended.

The actual birthdays for the sisters is Oct. 14 for Cynthia and Nov. 16 for Mary.
