The Hornets have begun a new tradition - the homecoming blowout.
For the second year in a row, Louise has defeated its opponent by a massive score on homecoming night, this time against Woodsboro 34-6.
The Hornets rallied to score five touchdowns while allowing just one Woodsboro score in the final seconds of the game.
Louise's first strike came with 8:03 left in the first quarter.
Antwon Parson has made opponents take notice of him with strong performances in the last two games and at homecoming, it happened again. Parson made the first score on an 81-yard touchdown run. The extra point failed, but Louise had the lead 6-0.
The next score came on a short passing play to end a nice scoring drive.
Quarterback Cory Hajovsky connected with fullback Kyle Lawson for a 7-yard touchdown. Parson ran in for the following 2-point conversion and Louise led 14-0 with 1:16 remaining in the first quarter.
Another pair of Parson touchdowns put the Hornets up handily by halftime.
With 10:57 on the clock in the second quarter, Parson caught an 8-yard pass from Hajovsky to boost Louise's lead to 20-0.
Parson ran for the last touchdown of the half from 21 yards out with 1:25 left in the second quarter.
The Hornets took a 26-0 lead into the locker room at halftime.
Javier Padron made the final score for the Hornets in the third quarter.
Hajovsky hooked up for his third passing touchdown of the night, this one for 7 yards to Padron. Hajovsky ran in the 2-point conversion to give Louise a 34-0 lead.
Woodsboro managed one touchdown with two seconds left to play in the game on a 13-yard run. The 2-point conversion failed and Louise finished the game with a 34-6 win on homecoming night.
Last year, Louise hosted the Charlotte Trojans for a hefty homecoming victory. The Hornets swamped Charlotte for a 47-0 victory.
That puts Louise at a startling 81-6 in its past two homecoming games.
Up next for the Hornets is a showdown in Falls City Oct. 19.
The Hornets will return to Louise to host Flatonia Oct. 26 before an open week Nov. 2 and the final game with Pettus Nov. 9.
