IMUD board picks banker The Isaacson Municipal Utility District took care of a little bit of banking business Oct. 11. The only new items on the board's agenda were to open sealed depository bids then designate a depository institution. That chosen bank or institution will be used from Nov. 1 of this year to Oct. 31, 2009. "The only bid came from Prosperity Bank, so they accepted it," said Wanda Evanicky, IMUD manager. "That is the same bank we are currently using." The board then agreed to keep the same authorized signatures for all IMUD bank accounts, those of board President Floyd Fisher; Larry Popp, board vice president; secretary Floyd Shimek and Evanicky. The Isaacson Municipal Utility District serves around 190 customers just outside the northeastern city limits of El Campo, providing water, sewer and garbage collection services. |
