Dr. Ellen Schlette & "Will" Hoke wed in Santa Fe, N.M. ceremony

Dr. Ellen Joy Schlette and John "Will" William Hoke were united in marriage at 4 p.m., Oct. 13, 2007 at a private residence in Santa Fe, N.M. Judge Autry performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Anne M. Schlette of Dallas and the late Robert Schlette. Parents of the groom are Maribel and Martin Hoke of El Campo.
Music provided by Mariachis Dueto Imperial included a wide selection of traditional tunes.
The bride was escorted by Jeff Casbeer, family friend. She wore a floor-length beige laceoverlay silk gown.
Matron of honor was Audrey Liethen of Dallas, sister of the bride.
Best man was the groom's father. Kevin Kilman of Georgetown served as usher.
A reception and dinner following the ceremony was held at The Compound Restaurant in Santa Fe.
Rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents Friday at the Cowgirl Hall of Fame.
The bride is a 1990 graduate of Texas A&M University and a 1994 graduate of the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. She is professor of the department of hematpathology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
The groom is a 1991 graduate of Texas A&M University. He is vice president of business development for Small Business Loan Source.
After a wedding trip to Ruidoso, N.M., the couple will reside in Houston.
