Baby shower honors Hlavatys

David and Lara Hlavaty were honored with a baby shower Saturday afternoon at Balcar's camp house on FM 441.

Hosts and hostesses included family members and cousins. The registration table was covered with a white linen tablecloth with baby registration sheets and a large white decorated cake saying "Congratulations David & Lara."

Hamburgers with all the trimmings were served with chips, dips, trash mix, jalapeno egg cheese squares, cakes, fruit salad, brownies, peanut butter clusters, Rice Krispie squares, tea and soft drinks.

Special guests were A.J. and Jo Ann Hlavaty of El Campo, paternal grandparents-to-be; and Ian and Annette Englefield, maternal uncle and aunt-to-be with cousins-to-be, Emma and Brynn of San Antonio.

David and Lara received a high chair and cash from the hosts and hostesses. They are expecting their baby in December.
