El Campo needs Christian youth group
Editor, the Leader-News:

This Saturday, Oct. 20 from 7-11 p.m. there will be a Christian Community Night at the Boys & Girls Club in El Campo, hosted by the Bible Truth Church and Stand Youth group from El Campo.

I am a very concerned parent and I strongly believe and I am excited that we have a church and youth group that is reaching out to the community to touch lives of our youth. It does not matter what religion or church you attend, this is for all God's people.

God loves us all equal. Teaching our children the Word and guiding them down the path God directs is the Point. I feel like if the there is someone from the Leader-News that might take time to come out and see what we are doing at the Boys & Girls Club and take photos and put an article in the paper this would reach out to our youth and keep them off the streets. El Campo needs organizations and caring parents to take the time with our children and have fun things for them on the weekends. This is not a drop and go. This is quality time with your children, sharing God's Love, fun and food.

I hope to see a picture and an article of the group in our local newspaper. I believe this will bring all churches, youth and our community together in a loving and caring way.
