Cancer Fighters Raise $117,000!
More than 130 cancer survivors participated in the "Survivor's Lap" Saturday at about 7 p.m. at Ricebird Stadium to get this year's Relay for Life under way. They were joined by at least 1,000 people walking, jogging or manning campsites during the annual Wharton County event benefitting the American Cancer Society.
