County Court jury duty has been canceled

Two Wharton County Court sessions have been canceled eliminating the need for called jurors to report.

Wharton County Clerk Sandra K. Sanders reports that jury calls for Thursday, Oct. 25 at 9:30 a.m. and Monday, Oct. 29 at 9:30 a.m. before Judge John Murrile have been canceled. Jurors need not report.

The cancellation does not effect the 329th District Court.

All those who received a summons for Monday, Oct. 29 in district court still need to appear.
