Miscellaneous bridal shower held for Megan Marcaurele

Megan Marcaurele, bride-elect of Toby Riha, was honored with a miscellaneous shower Saturday morning at St. John's Parish Hall in New Taiton.

Decorations were carried out in the bride's chosen colors of black, silver and white. Fresh white floral arrangements and candles accented the hall with white-laced table skirts with black satin embellishments.

Refreshments included punch, cake, poppy seed rolls, fruit and miniature quiche.

Special guests were Yvonne Marcaurele, mother of the bride-to-be; Kathy Riha, mother of the future groom; Josie Marcaurele and Patricia Kresta, grandmothers of the brideto be; and Leona Bubela, grandmother of the future groom.

The 39 hostesses presented the honoree with a 10-piece set of Emeril brand pots.

Megan and Toby's wedding date is set for Jan. 26, 2008.
