Maternal grandparents are Marti Setera of El Campo and the late John Setera. Paternal grandparents are Alfred and Nina Herrmann of Houston.

The mother is the former Jill Lynette Setera.

Vanessa Olvera

Pedro and Mary Olvera of El Campo announce the birth of their fourth child, a daughter named Vanessa Marie Olvera. The baby was born at 8:17 a.m., Oct. 17, 2007 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton weighing 7 pounds, 7 ounces.

She is welcomed home by two brothers, Pete, age 8, and Javier, age 4, and a sister, Margarita, age 4.

Maternal grandparents are Maria Moreno of El Campo and the late Adam Moreno. Paternal grandparents are Amalio Olvera Medellin and Catalina Gonzales Tello, both of Mexico.

Great-grandparent is Fe Gonzales.

The mother is the former Mary Rachel Moreno.

Hayden Blackwell

Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Blackwell of El Campo announce the birth of their first child, a son named Hayden Coriell Blackwell. The baby was born at 9:01 a.m., Oct. 15, 2007 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton weighing 7 pounds, 13 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Donald and Peggy Smith of Colorado City. Paternal grandparents are John and Charlene Blackwell of San Antonio.

Great-grandparents are Linden and LaJuana Solomon of Colorado City, and Alice and Alfred Hinze of Robstown.

The mother is the former Hayley Alanna Smith.

Celeste Sanders

Mr. and Mrs. James Sanders of El Campo announce the birth of their first child, a daughter named Celeste Jaimison Sanders. The baby was born at 9:42 a.m., Oct. 13, 2007 at Oakbend Hospital in Rosenberg weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces.

She is welcomed home by a brother, Brendon Miller, age 10.

Branden Wells

Daniel Wells and Dawn Vaught of El Campo announce the birth of their first child, a son named Branden Lee Wells. The baby was born at 3:02 p.m., Oct. 16, 2007 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces.

Branden is welcomed home by a sister and brother, Hannah Vaught, age 9; and Chase Vaught, age 4.
