Amy Beaver & Clayton Ryan wed at First Baptist Church, El Campo

Amy Marie Beaver and Clayton Jacob Ryan were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m., Oct. 20, 2007 at First Baptist Church in El Campo. The Rev. Rick Du- Broc performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gale and Lori Wolter of El Campo. Parents of the groom are Mike and Nancy Ryan of El Campo. The bride is the granddaughter of James and Joyce Litzman of Pearland, the late Joe and Lena Beaver of El Campo, Marlene Rod of El Campo and Truman and Vada Wolter of Stafford. The groom is the grandson of Ray and Florence Cornelson and the late Pat and Helen Ryan of El Campo.

Three candelabras with greenery and two side pieces of assorted greenery decorated the church. Family pews were accented with bows.

The bride, escorted by her step-father, Gale Wolter, wore a white one-piece, strapless gown designed by Maggie Sottero. The ruched bodice featured an asymmetrical organza drape with sprinkled lace embroidered motifs. The motifs were embellished with Swarovski crystals, bugle beads, seed beads, rice pearls and sequins. The gown swept to a flowing chapel-length train. The bride wore a crystal, pearl and rhinestone comb tiara. She chose a white double-length fingertip veil of illusion with bugle beaded, crystal, rhinestones and seed pearl edging. The carried a cascading mix of dendrobium orchids, Asiatic lilies, Eskimo roses, calcymia and English ivy.

Maid of honor was Alexus Labay, daughter of the bride. Bridesmaids were Donna Hubenak and Christy Freeman of El Campo, Rachel Hawkins of Kosciusko, Ms., Audrey Hallinger of Ganado, Kristi Cortright of Edna, Erica Hoffmann of Wharton and Lori Roddy of El Campo, all friends of the bride; Casie Janssen of Austin, niece of the bride; and Brandee Krpec of Garwood, friend of the bride.

Attendants wore gowns of royal blue chiffon featuring a halter bodice. The gowns fell to slipper length. Their bouquet was three hand-tied Eskimo roses with calcynia greenery and silver ribbon.

Shane Ryan of El Campo, nephew of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Nolin Stehling of Kerrville, Charlie Morton of El Campo, Keith Orsak of Youngsville, La., Brent Cerny of Midfield, Clint Kacal of El Campo, Michael Kaspar of Houston, Zane Thornton of Goliad, Josh Kocurek of El Campo and Drew Stehling of Richmond, all friends of the groom.

Ushers were Jason Ryan and Patrick Ryan, brothers of the groom; Joe David Beaver, brother of the bride; Nick Beaver and Charlie Naiser, cousins of the bride; Kyle Janssen, nephew of the bride; and Matt Hansen, friend of the groom.

Colleen Ryan, aunt of the groom, lit the memory candle. Witnesses were Joe and Julie Perez of Carthage. Wedding coordinators were Mary Arrendondo and Dolly Aguilar.

A reception followed at the El Campo Civic Center. The wedding march was led by Joe and Julie Perez. Members of the house party were Lola Beaver and Jan Krpec, aunts of the bride; Julie Perez, friend of the bride; Patsy Tuliback, Diane Williamson and Karon Buekma, aunts of the bride; Colleen Ryan, Kim Ryan, Ramona Ryan, aunts of the groom; Maureen Wolter, aunt of the bride; and Shara Allgayer and Sherri Jo Roddy, friends of the groom.

Rehearsal dinner was catered by Mustang Creek BBQ at Muldoon's and was hosted by the parents of the groom.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of El Campo High School. She is the office manager for D-AM Services Inc. in El Campo. The groom is a 1997 graduate of El Campo High School. He is a sales representative for Ryan Services Inc. in El Campo.

After a wedding trip to Maui and Honolulu, Hawaii, the couple will reside in El Campo.
