City Arrests Alcohol, drugs

Robert Earl Whitley, 35, of 301 S. Wharton was arrested at 7:49 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 on a Wharton County warrant for driving while intoxicated and a warrant for failure to identify, after being stopped for disregarding a traffic control device. He was transferred to Wharton County Jail the next morning.

Daniel Lee DeLeon, 20, of 512 Clara was arrested after surrendering at county jail at 9:18 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 on a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was released at 8 p.m. the same day on $10,000 bond.

County Jail Bookings Alcohol, drugs

Nicholas Janak, 27, of 612 Dorothy was booked Saturday, Oct. 20 for driving while intoxicated. He was released at 12:30 p.m. the next day on $1,500 bond.

Violence, weapons

Kevin Michael Sosa, 21, of 1132 Ellwood was booked at noon Wednesday, Oct. 24 on warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and burglary of a building. He was held as of 10 a.m. the next day.

Jamiel Ray Robinson, 21, of 719 Marionette was booked at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 for probation violation. He was released at 6:25 p.m. the same day on $50,000 bond.

Leo Bray Hudlin, 28, of 1010 Marionette was booked at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 for criminal trespass (conviction). He was held as of noon Thursday, Oct. 18.

Juan Felipe Tijerina, 58, of 9475 Hwy. 71 South in Danevang was booked at 3:55 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19 on a warrant for impersonating a personal servant. He was released at 11:30 a.m. the same day on $25,000 bond.

Douglas Marvin Thane, 52, of 1908 Wayne was booked at 11:02 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19 for two counts of probation violation. He was held without bond as of noon Monday, Oct. 22.

Douglas Smith, 36, of 21 Sentra was booked at 8:05 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22 for failure to appear and a warrant for theft by check. He was held on $4,000 bond as of noon the same day.

Brandon J. Holmes, 17, of 1305 Vallejo was booked at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 for evading arrest, resisting arrest and criminal trespass. He was held on $4,500 bond as of 10 a.m. the next day.
