Jessica Causey & Mark Korenek wed at historic Alamo Heights church

Jessica Tamar Causey and Mark Allen Korenek were united in marriage at 5 p.m., Oct. 13, 2007 at the historic Sunset Ridge Church of Christ in Alamo Heights. Pastor Aaron Davis performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Charla Davidson Kulcak of El Campo. Parents of the groom are J.V. Korenek and Maureen "Toodie" Brady of El Campo.
The bride, escorted by her mother and son, Marshall Sivills, wore an ivory gown by Zurc. Kimberly Wishert of El Campo and Jeannette Smith of Fort Worth served as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Vanessa Schwope of La Vernia, Jen Powell of Austin, cousin of the bride; Laura DeWald of Lytle and Neena Hassele, of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Best man was Randy Miller of Katy. Groomsmen were Jay Korenek of El Campo, brother of the groom; Greg Hodges of El Campo, Kenneth Kelley of Portland, Brian Michaelsen of El Campo and Mark Armstrong of Victoria.
Drew and Samantha Brady, nieces of the groom, attended as flower girls, and Colton Causey, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
Lillian Strnadel and Toodie Brady lit the family candles for the unity candle ceremony.
A reception, dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the Holiday Inn Select in San Antonio. The bride and groom celebrated with friends and family from Austin, Bay City, El Campo, McAllen, San Antonio, Sweeny and Colorado.
The rehearsal dinner was at the home of Neena Hassele. It featured homemade El Campo chicken spaghetti, prepared by a special friend of the couple, Renee Hermansen.
The couple will reside in San Antonio.
