Falcons give Ricebirds surprise 21-14 loss
Foster's fourth-quarter secures game, El Campo scoreless in second half

      Favored to come away with a blowout win Friday at Traylor Stadium against the Foster Falcons, El Campo received a shock instead. The 7-0 Ricebirds faced the 1-6 Falcons on Foster's homecoming and fell in a surprising 21-14 decision in District 24-4A action.

UIL delays post-season decision
      AUSTIN- The current system for football alignments will remain in place and superintendents will decide whether or not to add a fourth team to the playoffs in all team sports for Conference 4A after decisions handed down by the UIL Legislative Council on Monday.

EL CAMPO FRESHMAN FOOTBALL REPORT
      El Campo's freshman football teams played different opponents Oct. 18, but they both had the same outcome. The Freshman Red team shut out Bay City 41-0 while the Freshman White team played Calhoun and won 38-8.
