Having A Blast The Silly String booth at St. Philip's Halloween Carnival at the Knights of Columbus Hall Saturday drew a long line of children just itching for a chance to blast away. Among them were Marshall Mach, 11, of El Campo who armed himself with a spray can to challenge buddy Ty Welfel. Using his left hand as a shield Mach was able to avoid much of the string, but was still covered in the sticky goo.
