Reward offered in theft case
West Wharton County Crime Stoppers and El Campo Police are seeking Rachel Alameda Lara, 32, whose last known address was 1102 N. Washington. She is 4-feet, 11-inches tall, weighs around 145 pounds and has brown hair and black eyes. "Rachel was an employee of McDonald's Restaurant," said ECPD Officer Cindy Howell, who is also the Crime Stoppers coordinator. "She allegedly committed a felony theft of currency at that business." The thefts took place between mid-July and Sept. 5 of this year, Howell said. ECPD Sgt. David Howard is the investigator for the case. West Wharton County Crime Stoppers will pay cash rewards for information leading to the arrest and grand jury indictment of Lara. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain completely anonymous. Anyone with information about the person or persons who damaged the truck is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 543-8477, or Howard at 543-5311. |
